Ikebana Demo A well received presentation of Japanese flower arranging took place in early spring. Don Olsen from San Antonio, teacher of the Ichiyo School of Ikebana, showed varied techniques with common back-yard materials. He talked about the earliest type of arrangements and demonstrated styles that began in the 1700’s as well as a variety of modern arrangements. As a finishing touch, the arrangements, flowers and other materials were given to the audience. |
